Two unique PRIER products caught Tamara Day, host of HGTV's "Bargain Mansions," in hot water.
"I'm always looking for distinguishable designs, with meaning and a story behind it when I restore a home," said Day. "When I saw the new products by PRIER, I was immediately intrigued and thought of ways to incorporate it in the remodel of my own home."
Day recently added the TrueTemp hot and cold, outdoor hose faucet to her home and plans to add the new CoolTemp during a full remodel later this year.
"I love how I can simply dial the ideal temperature. It's perfect for washing cars, hosing out the garage, watching our kids run through the sprinkler," said Tamara Day. "And, it looks and feels like a crafted piece of art."
"We've had amazing demand for the TrueTemp faucet. Homeowners, including the Days, love the style and look," said President Nick Manning. "Earlier this year a homebuilder installed seven TrueTemps; six were for cold water and one was for hot and cold water. We decided to expand our line to meet the needs of homeowners and high-end homebuilders for areas where you just need cold water."
Building upon the highly sought-after TrueTemp hot and cold outdoor faucet, the new CoolTemp offers the same level of quality components, unique design, and performance as the TrueTemp, in a cold-water version.
Both are available in an oil-rubbed bronze or satin nickel finish to match surrounding home decor. The patented design has an ergonomic, rubber-grip handle for easy operation. Each faucet is freezeproof, self-draining, and includes an anti-siphon vacuum breaker and backflow check valve. As with most products offered by PRIER, the new CoolTemp is ASSE and UPC code-approved.
"The TrueTemp has been a flagship product for PRIER," said Marketing Manager Jeff Madden. "It's the most unique design on the market and now part of the PRIER Signature Series. We're excited to install these on Tamara Day's home and make these products available to homeowners with a discerning eye for quality."
