Moen has announced enhancements to the FloProtect Plan – its supplemental security and service plan for the Flo by Moen Smart Water Shutoff that offers a layer of security with on-demand expert advice and financial protection against the worst water damage events for only $5 per month. The Smart Water Shutoff offers peace of mind and puts users in control of their home's water supply to help detect and prevent leaks, as well as monitor water usage, all from the convenience of their smartphone. 

The company has implemented the following changes to FloProtect:        

• Raised the We-Pay Deductible Guarantee to $5,000 (was $2,500)
• Extended the warranty to an industry-best five years (previously three years)

The following is new for all Flo by Moen users — Free Standard Features:      

• Usage by Fixture and the Insurance Verification Letter have been unlocked from the FloProtect Plan, now both are free for all users
• All users have been given the tools to customize their Shutoff's unique FloSense with enhanced control options, including viewing pressure and flow rates changing in real time
