Radiant mats reduce onsite installation time in commercial heating/cooling systems with large, open footprints. REHAU RAUMAT is a pre-assembled roll of 5/8- or 3/4- inch RAUPEX O₂ barrier pipe with up to five circuits, 40- to 250-foot length and up to 6.5-foot width. In the San Diego Central Courthouse, radiant heating/cooling runs throughout the expansive public spaces on the first three floors and the public corridors on each floor of the 25-story tower. While traditional installation was used in the public spaces, for the corridors that have an identical footprint, the pipe was preassembled on customized RAUMAT that was delivered in rolls, providing significant time and cost savings.
