At the 88th Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH), held virtually on June 16, Gail Kaufman, vice president of marketing and e-business for Wolseley Canada, was elected as the 73rd chair of CIPH.
Kaufman joined Wolseley Canada in 2005 in the newly created role of director of marketing, responsible for the strategic directions of Wolseley marketing initiatives including new programs and branding the e-business. She has extensive experience in both B2B and B2C environments in her previous roles with Quaker State, Pennzoil and Royal Dutch Shell. Kaufman's CIPH Board experience includes serving on the CMPX Trade Show Committee and the CIPH Women’s Network, as chair of the Charity Committee in support of Habitat for Humanity and as chair of last year’s successful Annual Business Conference in Charlottetown, PEI, themed, “Get Connected.”
Outside of work and volunteering, Kaufman loves golden retrievers and is an avid blues music fan; she has been on many “blues cruises." Her love of Eric Clapton recently took her to the Royal Albert Hall in London to see him perform.
Kaufman's inaugural speech can be read online.
