McCormick Place — COVID-19 Field Hospital, Chicago

In April, Chicago’s McCormick Place — the largest convention center in North America — began a transformation into a 3,000-bed COVID-19 hospital. Facility designers selected Bradley’s highly durable solid plastic Lenox Lockers to safely store personal property for the doctors, nurses and other frontline medical personnel at the hospital. A key reason designers selected Lenox Lockers is due to the fact that they can be easily cleaned and sanitized, especially compared to metal lockers. Bradley supplied more than 150 Lenox Lockers to the hospital in a matter of days.
Riverwoods Surgical Center, Provo, Utah, and Prince George’s Hospital in Maryland

Hospitals needing sterilization of surgical instruments rely on Bradley’s Keltech Tankless Electric Water heaters for providing precisely heated on-demand hot water. Maryland-area COVID-19 Medical Tents

Hospitals and medical centers around the state of Maryland have erected medical triage tents to be used for COVID-19 patient care, assembling triage personnel and providing medical equipment. Throughout the state, 50 tents are being built near medical centers with a 10-bed capacity for a total of 500 beds. Considered extensions of the emergency room, the temperature-controlled “modular hospitals” are completely outfitted with the features needed to provide a safe environment in which staff can deliver care for patients. A range of Bradley’s washroom accessories are being used in these tents and supporting patients and medical staff.
Wisconsin State Fair’s Exposition Center, Milwaukee

In just 10 days, Wisconsin State Fair’s Exposition Center has been transformed into the state’s first COVID-19 alternative care facility. So far, patient rooms with 130 beds have been built inside the expo center; the facility will eventually have the capability to care for upwards of 750 patients if needed.
Army Corps of Engineers officials have been working on the technical challenges of turning the expo center into a hospital, including making it ADA compliant, equipping it with proper air pressure and wiring networks, creating inpatient and outpatient systems, and installing bathing facilities and additional toilets.
This facility is equipped with Bradley’s durable stainless steel washroom accessories, including grab bars, mirrors, soap dispensers, napkin disposals, hooks and shower rods.
