David P. Frame, owner of Bob Frame Plumbing Service Inc., a fourth generation, family-owned plumbing contractor business in South Bend, Ind., was recently elected to the board of directors of the Federated Insurance Cos.
Frame is an active member of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association at a local, state, and national level. He has served as president of both Indiana PHCC and St. Joseph Valley PHCC. His work with PHCC focused on labor negotiations, health and welfare, entertainment, and marketing.
He currently sits on the Insurance, Safety & Risk Management Committee of PHCC National Association.
In 2004, he received the Indiana PHCC Contractor of the Year Award. In 2005, PHCC National honored him with the Delta Faucet Award.
Frame's professional contributions have also been recognized by the Indiana General Assembly and the South Bend Common Council.
Bob Frame Plumbing Services is a union shop. Frame is chair of Local 172 Plumbers and Pipefitters and the JATC Committee. He is also a member of the Local 172 Joint Negotiating Committee.
His commitment to employee safety and risk management earned him the Federated Insurance PHCC Contractor of the Year "Safety First!" Award in 2013. Since 2013, he has also been a member of the Federated Insurance National Advisory Council.
