Times are uncertain, and many may be feeling confused, lost, scared, and even a little bit lonely. The American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) understands, so it is offering a 30-day trial of ASPE Connect to help users virtually engage with its online network of more than 3,000 plumbing industry professionals who are going through the same experience.
Since its launch one year ago, ASPE Connect has become the most engaging benefit for members of ASPE. Members log in daily to ask design questions and typically receive an average of 5.3 responses within hours. This online community also is used to share resources, get career advice, and discuss current industry trends.
Right now on ASPE Connect, members are discussing how COVID-19 is affecting their jobs and the industry and commiserating about working from home. They are also providing design advice about fire pumps, vacuum breakers, domestic water systems, commissioning, Revit, and other topics. ASPE is extending an invitation to join its Open Forum for a 30-day trial so users can partake in these discussions and also start new ones. After the trial ends, users will need to join ASPE to continue participating in ASPE Connect. In doing so, they will receive all of the other benefits of ASPE membership.
Those who would like to start connecting and be part of the ASPE community can sign up for the trial on the ASPE website.
