The North Central Wholesalers Association (NCWA) has pushed back its 2020 convention (originally scheduled for June 2–3) to July 21–22 at the Renaissance Hotel in Columbus, Ohio, with golf at the Columbus Country Club.
Those who have already made hotel reservations will need to call the Renaissance Enhanced Group Reservations at 877-901-6632 and change their reservations to the new dates. The association is hopeful that its circumstances with COVID-19 will be behind it at that time. The association realizes this has caused everyone a disruption in how they operate their businesses, and that some buying groups have also had to cancel meetings. The association believes and is hoping that by the time the convention arrives, it will be an event that will help companies quickly reengage with all their business partners in one location. It may be perfect timing for companies that have not been able to get together this spring to be able to reconnect and deal with some of the issues created by current circumstances.
Of course, as the date gets closer, the association may modify its plans again with format changes or possibly have to cancel the event for this year. Everyone would be notified as soon as any decision would be made to do so. As a reminder, the association's full refund date will be extended to June 21. Also, the hotel will hold rooms until three days prior to the event with no cancellation fees.
As always, the association is just a phone call (615-371-5004) or email (terry@northcentralwholesalers.org) away to address any questions or concerns.
