More than 19 million plastic bottles have been repurposed into thousands of pre-sloped and tile-ready shower pan systems by QuickDrain USA. Comprised of extruded rigid PET (polyethylene terephthalate) plastic foam, the lightweight and shatterproof shower pans are constructed from 100 percent post-consumer recycled plastic water bottles. Each rigid PET foam component can be easily cut and pieced together while eliminating the time and labor to float the typical pitched concrete shower base.
