The Collins Companies, one of the largest industrial distributors of pipe, valves and fittings (PVF) and engineered specialties serving the Northeast, is very pleased to announce that Alissa Peterson has joined the Collins Niagara Division as a sales engineer to service the company's customers in upstate New York.

Peterson has a degree from RPI in mechanical engineering as well as an associate’s degree in accounting, which will both prove to be invaluable in the promotion, sales, and servicing of the control valve and engineered product lines the company represents in the New York market.  

Peterson comes to Collins with two years of experience at IBM where she was a certified supplier quality auditor and five years at Northeast Controls where she was an inside sales engineer. She has a thorough knowledge of Collins' inside sales function which entails the sizing, selection, and procurement of automated valve assemblies and other process control products.
