GF Piping Systems (GF) is further enhancing its sales and service support to customers in Mexico. In late October 2019, the company conducted a groundbreaking ceremony for the 75,000-square-foot facility that it will share with its sister division GF Machining Solutions.
“The new facility will expand the GF footprint in Mexico and Latin America by allowing us to shift from a product manufacturer to a complete solutions provider that can deliver piping and measurement and control systems for industries requiring water and chemical conveyance,” said Jose Luis Rodriguez, country manager Mexico for GF Piping Systems. “Double the size of our present Apodaca location, the new site allows us to boost our capabilities in all areas for our distributors, OEMs, contractors, and end user customers in Mexico.”
With the expanded space, the new location is being designed to include a detailed product demonstration/showroom area by market segment as well as designated areas for customized valve assembly and pre-fabricated pipe and fittings to meet specialized customer needs.
A large educational area devoted to training contractors, installers, engineering companies, OEM and end user customers is also planned to provide a better understanding of GF solutions for specific water and chemical treatment applications. Other additions include expanded warehouse space to shorten delivery times and fulfill same day shipping requirements to Mexico as well as a larger sales and service support staff to ensure quick response and application expertise.
Mexico has become an important market for GF Piping Systems since the company first began sales to Latin America in 2007. Customers there have found that piping systems made of plastics are maintenance-free, lightweight, durable, and help reduce repair and overall costs.
The address for the new GF Piping Systems Mexican Headquarters is Av. Industrias 110, Parque Industrial PIMSA Oriente, Apodaca, Nuevo Leon CP 66603 Mexico. It is expected to be fully operational in the first quarter of 2020.
