Carr Company, a manufacturer's representative firm for the plumbing industry in Florida, has agreed to acquire substantially all assets of Suncoast Sales in accordance with a purchase agreement. The acquisition was completed on Jan. 1 and helps Carr Company maintain the top agency position within Florida. 

 

"We have decided to bring together the experience, skills and talents of two successful Florida agencies to expand our footprint and scale," said Carr Company President and Owner Michael Hobbs. "This allows us to offer quicker execution for our manufacturers and a consolidated line card of synergistic products that can be bundled to create integrated solutions." 

 

Carr Company has represented leading plumbing manufacturers in Florida for more than 50 years. Suncoast Sales has served similar markets with product lines complementary to Carr Company since 2006. Former Suncoast Sales owners Dan O'Sullivan and Laura Walters have accepted new roles with Carr Company.

All current personnel with Suncoast Sales have been retained and are now representing Carr Company. Suncoast Sales' office location and warehouse in Tampa has remained open. Carr Company continues to be on the leading edge of change, driving innovation and enhancements within the industry.
