The Blake Group, which owns and operates Blake Equipment, a privately-held manufacturers' representative and distributor of water and thermal energy products, has announced a friendly acquisition of Patterson Supply Co. effective Nov. 18.

 

The Patterson Supply locations on Miry Brook Road in Danbury, Connecticut, and Housatonic Avenue in New Milford, Connecticut, will be the operating locations of Blake Equipment-Patterson Supply Co. The Blake Equipment operation located at 34 Executive Drive in Danbury will relocate to these locations effective Dec. 9. 

 

As family-owned and operated businesses, both Patterson Supply and Blake Equipment have successfully supported the trades and industry throughout western Connecticut and eastern Hudson Valley New York for many decades. Their customers source them for well water and waste water systems, plumbing and PVF supplies, and water treatment systems, as well as domestic hot water, hydronic heating and steam systems.

 

While announcing the acquisition to employees, Fred Cuda, president of Blake Equipment, and Lew Patterson, president of Patterson Supply, shared, "By unifying the talents and strengths of Blake Equipment and Patterson Supply in the Danbury market, our customers will have access to more product lines and more services to support their businesses. We see this as a win-win for all."
