About the Entrepreneur Of The Year Award

The brothers won one of Ernest & Young’s regional awards last June. They were nominated for the award by their banker at PNC Bank, and then went through a lengthy process that included judges’ visits to their business, interviews and more. Once they were among about 30 finalists for a national award, the brothers traveled to Ernst & Young headquarters for more interviews.

The winners of the regional awards are scheduled to head to Palm Springs, California later this month to compete on the national level.

The award is considered to be one of the most prestigious business recognitions for entrepreneurs and celebrates those who are building and leading successful, growing and dynamic businesses. An independent judging panel made up of previous award winners, leading CEOs, investors and other regional business leaders, selects the winners.
