On May 7, at the North American Plumbing Specialties Association (NAPSD) Annual Conference in Kansas City, UTILITY was presented with the prestigious Annual John Mueller Memorial Vendor of the Year Award. The award was presented by Katie Parris, president of the NAPSD and The Parts Works (Seattle), to Audie Kranz, president of UTILITY, at the home of Ann and Joe Hodes, who graciously hosted the awards dinner and ceremony.
UTILITY was an invited vendor to the first NAPSD vendor conference 30 years ago. The award is voted on by the members of the NAPSD and is named in the memory of John Mueller, who was instrumental to making the NAPSD the vibrant organization it is today. Kranz stated that he was so completely flattered to be chosen for this award, especially in the honor of John Mueller, who was easily one of his favorite people, and who is still missed so much.
