The SFPE Foundation seeks industry, academic, government, non-profit, and other partners to invest in a multi-year research and educational collaboration to develop a strategy for action. Together, participants will leverage the collective expertise of SFPE's networks to identify how fire safety science and engineering can contribute to addressing pressing challenges in: Energy & Infrastructure, Resilience & Sustainability, Climate Change, and Digitalization, Artificial Intelligence, & Cybersecurity.

Those who attend the “Grand Challenges Summit” and participate as a GCI Founding Partner will collaborate on workshops, working groups, and white papers that will become a collective roadmap for the future.
