During several events on Capitol Hill and meetings with Congressional members and their staff, PHCC members advocated for increased water system infrastructure spending, workforce development, and career and technical education.

Student registration was up 28 percent compared to CMPX 2016.

The report includes 26 recommendations to promote and expand apprenticeship opportunities. 

Since the launch of the program in 2012, WITT has awarded more than $50,000 to 42 scholarship recipients.

This is the fifth year that the organization has offered its work ethic scholarship, which are taking application through June 4.

Since its inception, the scholarship program has awarded more than $400,000 to more than 300 deserving schools and apprentices.
