Sanden will be showcasing the SANCO2 Heat Pump Hot Water Heater that is due to launch in the North American market Q2 2015. This split-type water heater system is an air-source heat pump that includes a R744 (CO2) refrigerant-to-water heat exchanger producing hot water up to 150°F, which is then stored in a tank for use in the home. This product features the highest Energy Factor (EF) and First Hour rating of any Heat Pump Water Heater currently available in North America.
The SANCO2 unit is also available as a Residential Space Heating product, for use with radiant or other hydronic heating applications. Sanden’s AQUAECO indoor heat pump hot water heater is an integrated heat pump and hot water storage water tank that is significantly more efficient than a standard electric water heater.
Sanden will also be displaying products for both the vending and refrigeration industries. The new Sanden CO2 Inverter Condensing unit for Convenience Store Refrigeration is a single unit capable of operating the majority of refrigeration systems used in a convenience store, saving both energy and space compared to using conventional systems.
Also on display will be Sanden’s micro channel aluminum heat exchanger technology for both evaporators and condensers, which feature high heat transfer performance, lighter weight, smaller volume, reduced refrigerant charge, and lower cost. Residential and light commercial aluminum heat exchangers feature anti-corrosion treatment allowing for longer service in harsh environments.
