Assured Comfort Heating, Air & Plumbing, a home service company serving the greater Atlanta area, is announcing its year-long campaign that will continue its support of education in the Douglas, Paulding and Cobb County school systems and encourage scholastic improvement among students.
The company is planning on donating more than $20,000 to the three school systems over the course of 2018, including monthly awards for individual students, annual awards for teachers and faculty, and ongoing sponsorship of facilities and athletics. This month, $1,650 is being donated to the three school systems to be divided among students recognized as the most improved in their respective schools.
"The children in our schools move on to become our employees, our leaders and our future," said Jerry Hall, owner of Assured Comfort. "Supporting their growth and development is simply an obligation for us at Assured Comfort."
In 2017, Assured Comfort donated a total of $21,212 to the school systems in pursuit of advancing educational opportunities for youth in Georgia. In addition to monthly awards for students, Assured Comfort provided iPads to Douglas County teacher of the year finalists as well as sponsored their teacher's retirement luncheon and superintendent's retirement event. The home service company also donated $3,050 to Paulding County teacher of the year winners and sponsored the five Cobb County high schools with signage for their stadium and school.
"We should always encourage our children to better themselves, but we also cannot forget about the teachers and school systems that create educational opportunities," Hall said. "We at Assured Comfort believe that those working in our education systems should be supported whenever possible and rewarded for the valuable role they play in the lives of our future leaders."
Hall further supports local education by serving as chair on the Douglas County Public Education Trust along with his executive assistant at Assured Comfort, Brandee Menick, who serves as secretary. He also owns and operates the All-American Technician Academy, a training academy offering basic training, advanced training and even life skills for individuals wishing to pursue careers in the home services industry.
