During the HARDI Annual Conference in Colorado Springs, Colo., HARDI leadership transferred several key leadership positions, including the position of president from Michael Meier, Meier Supply Co., Inc., to Tom Roberts, cfm Distributors, Inc.
Following tradition, Meier passed the presidential gavel to Roberts at the closing ceremonies of the Annual Conference. Meier thanked his Meier Supply team, his family, and his wife Holly for all of their support over the past year.
Meier’s presidency brought changes in all of HARDI’s strategic pillars:
Roberts plans to lead the charge on what he calls organizational engagement. Rather than a single point of contact at a company serving as the de facto liaison with HARDI, organizational engagement seeks to directly connect many people at a company with the resources and people at HARDI that serve them. In short, this creates a many-to-many relationship between a company and HARDI, instead of the common one-to-one relationships that currently exist.
HARDI Executive Committee
Meier moves into the role of Past-President, replacing Bill Bergamini, ILLCO, Inc. HARDI President Elect is now Troy Meachum, ACR Supply Co.; Vice President is Brian Peirce, Peirce-Phelps; and new to the Executive Committee is Secretary/Treasurer Tom Boutette, B&B Trade Distribution.
Regional Directors & Supplier Advisor
HARDI bids farewell to Great Lakes Region Director Larry Trimbach, 2J Supply, who is being replaced by Rhonda Wight, Refrigeration Sales Corp. For HARDI’s Southwest Region, Michelle Shearer-Rodriguez, Shearer Supply, Inc. takes over for Larry Plocheck, Coastal HVAC Supply. Ray Newstead, Refrigerative Supply, fills the Canada Region Director, as Tom Boutette moves to the Executive Committee. Finally, Steve Carboni, Shupe, Carboni & Associates, replaces Peter Gould, The Gould Co. as Manufacturer Rep. Advisor.
In addition, HARDI has added one At Large Director. Monte Salsman, Winsupply Inc. is the first to hold the position.
HARDI thanks all outgoing leaders for their service and welcomes the new leadership.
