Winsupply Inc. has opened two new companies along the Eastern seaboard:
The openings represent the seventh and eighth companies Winsupply has opened during 2016.
The Absecon location serves contractors in the plumbing, hydronics and new construction industries in Ocean, Atlantic and Cape May counties of New Jersey. The president of the company, Jim Yates, and his team have more than 75 combined years of experience in the plumbing and hydronics industries. Yates previously worked for plumbing supply companies in the region.
“Jim Yates decided to invest in a Winsupply company of his own after 26 years in sales and marketing for other wholesale distributors,” said Roland Gordon, president of Winsupply Inc. “The investment opportunity and equity partnership with Winsupply is something that isn’t offered by other major wholesalers in our industry. He’s very knowledgeable with the southern New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania market where he has experience as a wholesale branch manager as well as managing multiple branches in the region and helping them become profitable. Jim and his team have very strong relationships with the local plumbing and heating, and mechanical contractors.”
The Rockland location serves plumbing, HVAC and hydronics contractors in the mid-coastal region between Portland and Bangor, where Winsupply has existing locations in each of the latter cities.
The president of Winsupply of Rockland, Sam Irish, has been with Winsupply for more than 10 years and helped open Bangor Winsupply in 2014.
“Sam has a strong track record with opening and establishing a successful new business in a new location, experience that will serve him and his team well in Rockland,” Gordon said. “Sam and his team have 35-plus years combined experience in the hydronics, HVAC and plumbing industries, extending our distribution footprint along the important northeast coast.”
