Vince Wenos has joined Sloan as vice president, engineering and R&D.
“Vince brings a strong background in engineering and product design to Sloan,” said Jim Allen, Sloan’s president and CEO. “I am confident that his expertise and years of leadership experience will take Sloan’s engineering and R&D team to the next level.”
Wenos has more than 20 years of leadership experience in engineering and product development and joins Sloan from Stanley Black & Decker where he served as vice president, global product development and technology.
Prior to that, he was the vice president of engineering and electrical disciplines at United Technologies.

I am particularly excited to build upon the proud legacy of product innovation and leadership that our customers and the industry have come to expect from Sloan for the past 110 years.”
Wenos holds an MSE from Purdue University along with an MBA from The University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business. He will be based in Franklin Park, Ill.
