Panasonic Appliances Air-Conditioning North America today announced the hiring of Allan Dziwoki, who will lead Panasonic's heating and cooling business in North America as division vice president and general manager.
In his new role, Dziwoki will be responsible for all operational activities for the heating and cooling business in the United States, including sales, marketing, service and engineering. Dziwoki will also take charge of the group's strategic planning, as well as the implementation and management of key initiatives and objectives for the heating and cooling business in the U.S.
Dziwoki comes to Panasonic with a wealth of industry experience. Most recently, he held senior roles in sales and marketing at Watsco, a leading HVAC distributor in the United States. Before that, he spent 15 years with Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc., most recently as the senior vice president of sales, marketing and operations in the cooling and heating division. There, he headed up the HVAC business and was responsible for revenue growth, market leadership and profitability.

Prior to joining Mitsubishi, Dziwoki served as an officer in the United States Army from 1988-1992 with deployments to Central America and Southeast Asia. Following his military service, Dziwoki became the operations manager for Giben America, Inc., where he led all of the support functions for the company, including logistics, service and information technology.
