The D-tect 120, an easy-to-use detector with reliable radar technology, features spot detection technology that can detect objects instantly when placed on a wall or floor. It not only detects objects that are right below it, but also indicates to the user through arrows the direction of nearby objects. The spot scan helps when scanning brick walls or tight spaces. Electronic "traffic light" indicators make detection straightforward and simple – green, nothing detected; orange, something is close; red, object detected. It can be used in a variety of applications in three modes: drywall, universal and concrete. Other features include an unshielded AC warning to avoid drilling into live wires, a center finder to indicate an object's center for locating precision and measuring depth up to 4-3/4". Detection of all materials includes water-filled plastic pipes.
