Bear Creek, AL – Who says a 9’ by 4’ bathroom shouldn’t have all the amenities? Not the builders involved in Tiny House Nation and certainly not ThermaSol, the steam shower brand chosen to provide a steam shower and MicroTouch controller for this ‘micro’ bathroom. “Tiny House Nation” is a design show which celebrates the ingenious small spaces and the inventive people who live in them. ThermaSol was happy to be chosen to participate in this unique project to show that every bathroom — no matter how small, can support a steam shower!
ThermaSol provided their Pro 84 package with MicroTouch to the builders to ensure that the family had the best and most efficient steam shower for their particular situation. The owners of the 400 square foot house asked renovation experts and hosts John and Zack to build them a high-tech tiny home which they could monitor from afar to check weather conditions in the long winter months. Zack’s challenge was to build a tiny space that met all their high tech needs, stored some of their winter gear, and most importantly would bring this family closer together.
ThermaSol’s MicroTouch control is a high-tech yet simple way to operate a ThermaSol steam shower system. Channeling capacitive touch technology (CCT) used on mobile devices, users control the screen in the same manner as a smartphone or tablet – with just the touch of their finger. With MicroTouch, users can easily control their entire steam shower experience, including on/off temperature, PowerFlush system, or recall their last steam setting. MicroTouch is also compatible with ThermaSol’s Solitude Wireless Module. Along with its technical capabilities, MicroTouch was designed with a low profile and crisp and clear screen display for an understated yet high-end look making it the perfect system for this ‘micro’ in dimensions but ‘macro’ in amenities bathroom.
