Mesa, Ariz. – On April 24th, 180 Farnsworth Wholesale Company employees, customers and vendors converged at the Biltmore Country Club for the Annual FWC Golf Classic 2015. Farnsworth, an Arizona based plumbing supply company, was able to raise $5,000, which was donated to AzBrainfood, a local non-profit organization providing food to hungry children. The tournament featured a hole benefiting AzBrainfood where each team had the option of donating $20. Almost every team participated.
“Our annual golf tournament is great fun for our employees and partners, and to be able to give back to a local organization is a great honor for us,” said Mark Shill, president of Farnsworth. “We are proud to have been able to contribute to AzBrainfood this year and look forward to making a bigger impact as our tournament grows in the future.”
Arizona Brainfood is a non-profit organization that discreetly provides a backpack of food to feed hungry school children on the weekends. Their hope is that each child will return to school every Monday mentally aware and physically able to concentrate.
