Sunnyvale, Calif. – Trimble announced the launch of a new fleet management option to extend its comprehensive portfolio of fleet and field service solutions. 

Flexible packaging 

Trimble Fleet Express is the latest addition to Trimble’s Field Service Management (FSM) solutions, offering greater flexibility for organizations operating fleets. This new service package combines the ease and simplicity of a self-install, plug-and-play OBDII device with the best features and functionality of Trimble Fleet Management, including vehicle tracking, vehicle maintenance, on-demand reports and scheduling and alert notification. Trimble Fleet Express is one of three fleet management packages available, providing businesses with a choice of solutions to meet their needs.

New mapping capabilities with ALK Maps

In addition to launching Trimble Fleet Express, Trimble has replaced its Bing mapping functionality in its work management and fleet management solutions with ALK Maps, a dynamic mapping and route visualization platform from ALK (www.alk.com), a Trimble Company. This new functionality will benefit customers with best-in-class mapping, forward geo-coding, street-level routing and a range of enhanced features.
