RenewAire, manufacturer of HVAC and indoor air quality (IAQ) products, has introduced the HE+DX Coil, a duct-mounted system that adds cooling capability to the commercial HE Series’ HE07 and HE10 energy recovery ventilators (ERVs). The HE+DX Coil offers dedicated outdoor air system (DOAS) functionality from an ERV with significantly lower equipment costs and shorter lead times. With its smaller size, it can fit into tighter spaces. The HE+DX Coil targets the direct expansion (DX) and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) HVAC markets for schools, retail, government facilities, residential dwellings and other applications requiring supplemental air conditioning capabilities from an ERV.
