Neenah Enterprises, a wholly owned subsidiary of Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Co., has announced that its board of directors has appointed Vik Bhatia to serve as CEO.
“We are thrilled to have an executive of Vik’s character and experience join our team,” said Roddey Dowd, Jr., chairman of the board of Neenah Enterprises. “Vik not only has experience running complex heavy manufacturing operations, but he has a deep understanding of the waterworks market.”
Bhatia had served as president of U.S. Pipe since April 2019. Prior to that, he was with the company as an executive vice president of Forterra, helping integrate businesses across the U.S. Pipe product platform.
Before joining Forterra, Bhatia served as executive vice president of strategic initiatives at Copart Inc., a publicly traded global provider of online auctions and vehicle remarketing services. He also spent 14 years at Boston Consulting Group, a global management consulting firm, in various roles and with numerous responsibilities, most recently serving as partner and managing director from 2009 to December 2014.
“We could not ask for a better fit than Vik,” said Tom Slabe, the outgoing CEO of Neenah Enterprises, who will remain a member of the Board of Directors. “Vik’s background, experience, and understanding of the unique culture at Neenah make him the ideal person to lead the company to the next level. I am excited for our customers and employees to see what the future holds under his leadership. In my role as a director, I will be available to help Vik during the transition.”
