Re-engineered and enhanced, its design builds on the SharkBite (1st Generation) fitting with key improvements for stronger, faster, and better connections. The SharkBite Max brass body comes with a new reinforced stainless-steel collar for added strength, allowing the fitting to handle up to double the burst pressure compared to the 1st generation fitting. The new design also requires half the insertion effort as the original fitting, making it even easier to make a connection.
