The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) is seeking committee members for the development of American National Standards and National Standards of Canada. IAPMO is seeking volunteers from a variety of interest categories to serve on the following standards committee consensus bodies:

Building Standards Committee (BSC) — enforcing authorities, installer/maintainer, and user, including Canadian representation in the same interest categories. 

Hydronics Standards Committee (HSC) — enforcing authorities, installer/maintainer, and research/standards/testing laboratory, including Canadian representation in the same interest categories.

ISO 30500 National Adoption Committee — consumer and installer/maintainer, including Canadian representation in the same interest categories.

Plumbing Standards Committee (PSC) — consumer, enforcing authorities, including Canadian representation in the same interest categories.

Solar Standards Committee — consumer, research/standards/testing laboratory, and user, including Canadian representation in the same interest categories.

The IAPMO consensus bodies are responsible for the development of industry related standards and oversee the work of the technical subcommittees. The consensus bodies operate in accordance with IAPMO's accredited procedures for standards development: IAPMO PP-1 (Policies and Procedures for Consensus Development of American National Standards) and IAPMO PP-2 (Policies and Procedures for Development of National Standards of Canada)
