Zoom Drain, a leading operator and franchisor of drain and sewer services, was honored with the Spartan Tool Customer of the Year award during the WWETT Show in Indianapolis. The award recognizes long-standing and valuable relationships the Michigan-based wastewater equipment company has developed with other industry leaders.

“We love working with Spartan Tool,” said Zoom Drain President Ellen Rohr, who accepted the award. “We have 18 locations across the United States and plan to grow by eight more this year. That’s a lot of Zoom Drain jets and equipment! They have leaned into the challenge – and make our franchisees their first priority. It’s great to work with such savvy business people.”

The two companies have worked together for quite a long time, allowing Zoom Drain to worry less about having enough tools for the job and more on making sure it gets done correctly. It was the first year Spartan Tool distributed the Customer of the Year award, looking to focus on a company that shares a similarity in values as well as the way they approach their customers.

“Throughout the supply chain squeeze, they have taken a lot of the burden off our shoulders,” added Rohr. “Spartan Tool is the very best of partners! We are honored to be their Customer of the Year and to work so closely with a woman-owned company. Here’s to a repeat in 2022!”

Founded in Chicago in 1943, Spartan Tool’s professional grade equipment has always been manufactured in the United States. In 1978 the company became part of Heico Holding, Inc. and is now proudly owned by Emily Heisley Stoeckel, who brings diversity and leadership.
