As part of its ongoing commitment to support the trades, RIDGID, a part of Emerson’s professional tools portfolio, is excited to partner with Pfister on their “American Plumber Stories” initiative. The docuseries, created in 2021 to highlight the work of plumbers nationwide, kicks off its second season today.
Impressed by the trade professional stories told in season one of “American Plumber Stories,” RIDGID is proud to partner with Pfister in season two. Episodes will continue to promote the plumbing industry and aid in workforce development efforts by highlighting the success stories of plumbers. This season will also take a closer look at the change makers, teachers, influencers and women who are reshaping the plumbing industry. The series is hosted by country music entertainer and Army veteran Craig Morgan.
“‘American Plumber Stories’ is about more than just showing plumbers on jobsites. It also examines how professionals got into the plumbing field and how they have built a life around it. It really reinforces the challenge of attracting the next generation of plumbers, and that’s a story RIDGID is passionate about,” said Denis Hanna, director of sales and vocational training programs, RIDGID for Emerson.
RIDGID is involved in extensive efforts across several workforce development initiatives. They also offer continuing education and hands-on training for plumbers, along with supporting scholarships and apprenticeships with several national organizations including SkillsUSA, The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Educational Foundation, and the Mechanical Contractors Association of America.
“We’re excited to welcome RIDGID to the ‘American Plumber Stories’ team. It’s clear from the work they’ve already done in in this area that they share our vision for bringing recognition to this important cause,” said Spencer Brown, “American Plumber Stories” executive producer and Pfister director of sales.
“‘American Plumber Stories’ is amplifying a message that those of us working in the plumbing industry already know – plumbers and other skilled trade professionals play a vital role in building and maintaining our country’s infrastructure. It’s exciting for RIDGID to be a part of this initiative that allows others to get a behindthe-scenes look at the dedication and commitment of these essential professionals,” said Becky Brotherton, director of engagement marketing, RIDGID for Emerson.
