HVACR wholesale distributor Gustave A. Larson Co. has announced that it ranked No. 63 on Deloitte’s Wisconsin 75, a ranking of the 75 largest private companies in Wisconsin, based on sales revenue.
President Scott Larson credits proactive inventory orders and dedicated employees, among other things, with the company’s accomplishment.
“The good news is that we acted early in 2021 and kept our foot on the gas with inventory,” he said. “We understood that the supply chain disruption from 2020 would continue and those that had inventory would win. Nobody said things would be easy, and we want to thank our employees for their tireless dedication to our customer’s success, which in turn makes all of us successful.”
To be eligible for Deloitte’s Wisconsin 75 recognition, companies must have a majority ownership by an individual(s), family, employee stock ownership plan or private equity firm. Additionally, companies must have annual sales revenue of at least $50,000. The Wisconsin 75 excludes cooperatives and accounting, tax, legal and consulting service companies.
"For the 19th year, Deloitte is proud to recognize the economic and community impact of the largest 75 private companies in Wisconsin — the Wisconsin 75,” noted PJ DiStefano, Wisconsin managing partner of Deloitte LLP. “This year we will not only celebrate the individual successes of each of these organizations, but also the collective impact of private companies in powering Wisconsin's economy and community."
The Gustave A. Larson Co. has been featured on the WI 75 list every year since its inception in 2003.
