APR Supply Co. recently had an opportunity to discuss the national exposure that one of its long-time customers, Ken Rex Plumbing, Heating and Cooling, has earned.
At the helm of the second-generation company stands Ken Rex, who was recently asked by Fujitsu General, an international manufacturer of HVAC products, to feature a new construction project in their latest promotional video.
Having served the Wilkes-Barre, Scranton, and Pocono Mountain community for over 75 years, this is not the first time that Rex and his team have been tapped for such an effort. Within the last decade, Fujitsu has featured him in both a new construction project, as well as a remodel, where Rex designed and installed high-efficiency Fujitsu General Multi-Zone Systems.
“I remember working on coal hand-fired and stoker boilers with my father in 1978. Now to be featured in ‘The Future of Heating & Cooling’ … talk about coming full circle,” Rex marveled.
As APR approaches its own 100-year anniversary, the company will be looking closer at the plumbing and heating Industry, and the generations of laborers that have serviced its local communities. APR applauds Ken Rex Plumbing, Heating and Cooling for its longevity in the business, and acumen to embrace and master the newest technology the industry offers.
