The PVF Roundtable held two events in Houston June 7-8, raising more than $100,000 to benefit the PVF Roundtable Charitable Foundation. The foundation raises money and awareness for attracting and educating individuals into the trades, by proving support directly to them as they study at universities and trade schools.
The event kicked off with the PVF Roundtable Golf Tournament on Monday June 7 at the Clubs of Kingwood. The historic event was the largest to date with more than 440 golfers playing on four courses. The record turnout was met enthusiastically from both sponsors and participants, and raised a record amount of money to donate to the PVF Roundtable Scholarship Fund. Upon completion of golf, the group enjoyed a reception and dinner, and a silent auction and golf cart raffle, to further raise funds for the charity. Title Sponsors of the golf outing were Weldbend and Elite Supply Partners Inc., who along with a packed lineup of industry supporters and backed by 60 volunteers, made the golf tournament was a huge success.
The following day was celebrated by the Roundtable’s networking reception, held at The Bell Tower, welcoming more than 300 registration. The reception was another opportunity for the PVF channel to connect with industry peers and network, finding solutions to challenges and helping others along the way. The networking reception is held each quarter, and a go-to for staying in touch and on-trend in PVF.
