Forged Components Inc. (FCI) has acquired Western of Texas Forge & Flange Co. (WOT), joining to make both companies stronger.

WOT has been a domestic flange manufacturer serving the Gulf Coast region since 1984. Offering a complete line of pipe flanges and custom forgings, the company has a complete forging and machining facility just north of Beaumont, Texas in the small town of Kountze.

FCI was founded by the late Karl Lyons in 1997, and is a fully integrated manufacturer of pressure vessel connections, wellhead products, LWN nozzles, custom forgings, power products, and subsea components.  Just recently, FCI added to their family of companies with the acquisition of WOT. 

FCI and WOT continue to operate as two separate entities, and both are dedicated to satisfying the needs of their customers in the oil and gas, petrochemical, and various other industries. Both companies offer an experienced, dedicated staff with a ‘can do, think outside the box’ attitude and continue to invest and reinvest in forging, heat treating, machining equipment and other possible acquisitions.     

FCI and WOT offer quality management systems based on the principles of ISO 9001:2015. All manufacturing sites are fully certified to PED and both hold Canadian Registration Numbers for all Canadian provinces.  In addition, sharing a metallurgical quality control program that clearly and precisely directs the selection of raw material heat, forging and heat-treating practices for specific applications required in the industries they serve.
