Slant/Fin will help support breast cancer research with a Sentry boiler in pink.

The S-90 and S-120 models are now available in “Heating for a Cure” pink at no extra cost. For every pink boiler sold, the company will donate $50 to The National Breast Cancer Foundation.

According to a company press release, Slant/Fin picked the charity since it efficiently uses donations to pursue its mission.

For example, the foundation has partnerships with medical facilities across the country to provide free mammograms and diagnostic breast care services to underserved women through the NBCF National Mammography Program. In addition, the NBCF National Mammography Program requires that medical facilities within its network have the capacity to continue treatment after an abnormal finding or diagnosis of breast cancer.

In addition, the NBCF is rate four stars out of four by the Charity Navigator, a nonprofit group that rates charities.
