The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) is seeking nominations for the 2021 Skip Snyder Humanitarian Award.
“ACCA is deeply honored to present one of our members with this award every year, as it is a very special award to the company,” said Barton James, ACCA president and CEO. “The humanitarian efforts the nominees put forth is remarkable and deserves recognition. Here at ACCA, we value leadership and community service, which is what our nominees and winners exemplify.”
The Skip Snyder Humanitarian Award was established by ACCA in memory of Skip Snyder, a past ACCA national chairman and North American Technician Excellence (NATE), who passed away in 2013. Skip was an iconic figure in the HVACR industry, but through his many benevolent efforts and actions, he left his footprint everywhere — especially at ACCA. This prestigious award is presented annually to recognize an ACCA contractor who makes extraordinary contributions to the betterment of their community. It is a tribute that defines Skip's remarkable character and his philosophy of life — helping, caring, and sharing with others.
Contractors must submit their application online by filling out the online form at www.acca.org/members/awards/ssha, no later than November 30, 2020.
