Stiebel Eltron Acquires Tankless Inc.

Stiebel Eltron, Inc. acquired Tankless Inc. of Sarasota, Florida. Tankless Inc. was founded in 1982 and is a manufacturer of commercial and industrial three-phase electric tankless water heaters. Stiebel Eltron, founded in 1924 in Germany, has pioneered tankless electric water heating since its founding 93 years ago.

“We are excited to acquire Tankless Inc. as it will greatly expand our product offering in the three-phase market,” said Frank Stiebel, co-owner of Stiebel Eltron. “We are looking forward to refining and integrating their line with the industry-leading products we already manufacture.”

The Tankless Inc. products will continue to be sold under the Tankless, Inc. name in the immediate future, but eventually they will be branded Stiebel Eltron.
