Jim Hengehold to Retire from Powell Valves

Jim Hengehold, senior vice president – Powell Engineering will retire at year’s end.
Hengehold began his career with Powell in 1980 as a project engineer. He was mentored by Bob Koester and was promoted to assistant chief engineer. He went on to succeed Koester as Powell’s chief engineer.
“I have always thought Jim is the best valve engineer in our industry,” said Randy Cowart, president, CEO and chairman of the Wm. Powell Co. “I thank Jim for being an important executive in the success of Powell Valves.”
