ASC Engineered Solutions Opens New Pennsylvania Facility for Inspection and Repair of Mechanical Hydraulic Snubbers

ASC Engineered Solutions has opened a new fully certified service center in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, specializing in providing a full-suite of mechanical and hydraulic snubber inspection, testing and repair services for the nuclear power industry. 

Services are provided both on-site and now, for contaminated snubbers, off-site within the new Johnstown facility.  

The ASC Johnstown campus, located at 269 Jari Drive, integrates OEM manufacturing, machining, and a newly added Hot-Shop Service Center to provide a next level of service to nuclear power generation owner-operators. The new facility is only the second fully certified center of its kind in North America. 

The ASC Service Center in Johnstown can service all types of mechanical and hydraulic snubbers from a wide range of manufacturers. ASC certified service technicians test, inspect, repair, and certify contaminated snubbers under a radioactive material license. 

The ASC Service Center is now open and accepting work requests.
