CalPoly San Luis Obispo Wins Student Chapter Competition, Students and Educators Recognized at MCAA24

California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo emerged as the victors in the Student Chapter Competition and returned to campus with a $10,000 prize following their Final Four presentation at MCAA24. The University of Maryland, College Park was selected as the 2023-2024 Student Chapter of the Year and Joe Karpinski, faculty advisor for Kent State University, was recognized as the Educator of the Year. Individual students were recognized with a variety of scholarships and for the first time, the combination of awards and grants distributed at an MCAA Convention totaled over $100,000.
