What says love more than chocolates, roses … and heating oil?

Colby and Gale, a heating oil company in Damariscotta, Maine, surprised a dozen specially chosen customers this past Valentine’s Day with chocolates, roses and a free fillup.

“It makes an extra special day, more than the normal Valentine’s Day, and just kind of helps the community and helps people,” Matt Poole, a company manager told the local TV station.

The customers thought Colby and Gale where just there to check the oil tank. But most guessed something was up when a specially decorated oil truck wrapped in red with a big “Love Your Fuel” decal on the sides and back rolled into their driveways.
