APR Supply Co. to Acquire Four New Branches

APR Supply Co. has entered into an agreement to purchase the assets of Plumbers Equipment Co. located in the Pittsburgh area. The anticipated close date for the transaction is April 5, 2021.

Plumbers Equipment is a four-branch plumbing wholesale distributor with bath and kitchen showrooms. The locations include Plum Borough (120 Sagamore Hill Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15239), Greensburg (219 Humphrey Rd., Greensburg, PA 15601), North Hills (2134 Babcock Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15209), and South Hills (1101 Rockwood Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15234). 

The acquisition of Plumbers Equipment gives APR the ability to accelerate its western Pennsylvania expansion and add bath and kitchen showrooms in that market. APR will introduce HVAC products to these locations, and support the branches through a regional distribution center model. This will be supplemented by the company’s Lebanon, Pennsylvania central distribution center and overall logistics capabilities.
