Drain water from commercial equipment that exceeds 140 degrees Fahrenheit must be sufficiently tempered down before entering public sewers to comply with plumbing regulations and prevent damage to PVC piping. To simplify code compliance, ThermOmegaTech’s drain tempering valves (DTVs) are installed in-line to continuously monitor effluent and automatically apportion cold water flow.
