HARDI named four champions for their outstanding contributions to one of the HARDI pillars. The following champions in Advocacy, Benchmarking and Education were recognized at the Annual Conference in Colorado Springs:
Advocacy – Coastal HVAC Supply and Gustave A. Larson Co.
The Advocacy Pillar Champion was shared by Coastal HVAC Supply and Gustave A. Larson Co., accepted by Coastal HVAC Supply Treasurer Aleta Plocheck and Gustave A. Larson Co. President Scott Larson.
“Both companies have been very involved in our Advocacy efforts and helped us on the path to our most successful Congressional Fly-In to date,” said Jon Melchi, HARDI vice president of government affairs & business development. “In the interest of affecting positive change for the entire industry, both companies rallied fellow members to head to Washington for valuable exchanges with their representatives.”
Benchmarking – G. W. Berkheimer
The Benchmarking Pillar Champion was G. W. Berkheimer, with the award accepted by Aaron Braun, IT director for G. W. Berkheimer.
According to Brian Loftus, HARDI market research & benchmarking analyst: “G. W. Berkheimer continues to support many of HARDI’s benchmarking tools. One of HARDI’s greatest strengths is in the sharing of ideas and G. W. Berkheimer reliably contributes to benchmarking and provides feedback, benefiting every HARDI member.”
Education – ACR Supply Co.
The Education Pillar Champion was ACR Supply, with the award accepted by Troy Meachum, ACR Supply president.
ACR Supply has established itself as a leader in training, enrolling associates in thorough training programs.
“They’re extremely dedicated to training and development,” said Nick Benton, HARDI manager of professional development. “They’ve essentially baked career development into their business plan.”
