The 2024 Flow Expo opened March 9th at the Los Angeles County Fairplex to a excited crowd of attendees. Showcasing the newest in the plumbing, heating, and cooling (PHC) industry exhibitors from around the world demonstrated their latest products and services, with over 500 brands, ranging from fixtures and tools to HVAC systems and vehicles. The Flow Expo is a key venue for those in the plumbing and HVAC industries to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends.
Over 6,300 attendees spent the day walking the 170,000 square feet of displays talking with industry experts and staff. Many companies focused on the newest in energy conservation and environmental concerns such as decarbonization as well as heat pumps, multi-fuel devices, connectivity and building automation. A growing presence of HVAC was also noticeable this year including Samsung, Appion and Teslong.
Attendees represented professionals covering the PHC industry, including owners/contractors, technicians, engineers, new build/restoration/remodelers, manufacturers, wholesalers, representatives and distributors, facility managers, municipal/utility, educators, students and more.
This years keynote speaker Roger Wakefield “The Expert Plumber” shared his story and encouraged contractors to Be the Best of the Best and set themselves apart from others in their field. Roger spent time talking with business owners, technicians, manufacturers and PHCC officials about their experiences, ideas and goals in a series of podcasts.
Educational sessions included presentations by industry stalwarts including AO Smith, Bradford-White, Schier and General Wire while Super Tech University spoke on exploring strategies for business growth and Bruce D. Rudman of Abdulaziz, Grossbart & Rudman discussed updating of contracts and provisions to correspond to the changing laws.
The 2025 Flow Expo will mark our 50th Anniversary of serving the plumbing and HVAC community beginning with Los Angeles, expanding to California and now the United States and beyond. The Flow Expo continues to experience growth in the number and diversity of it's exhibitors, including many international manufacturers. The Flow Expo's plans for the future are bright and we look forward to adding more categories and exhibitors to better serve the growing Plumbing and HVAC community in the coming years.
