Chicago, Ill. – The American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) is pleased to announce that long-time industry veteran Brian Henry has been named the new director of affiliate relations to replace David Jern, who is retiring next month.
Brian joins ASPE after a long and distinguished career with Patterson Pump Company, where he served in marketing/technical services for 26 years. Since 2002, he has been a member and chair of ASPE’s Exhibitors Advisory Committee, a group of industry representatives who consult ASPE on the ASPE Convention and Exposition and other issues of interest to their affiliate members. In 2012, Henry was the Affiliate Liaison to the ASPE Board of Directors, and he received ASPE’s Peter Warshaw Service Award in 2014 for his continued efforts on behalf of the industry and ASPE. Henry is also a corporate representative for the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI).
A father of one boy and two girls, Brian has been married to his wife Christine for 26 years. He is a member of the Little League’s Southeastern Region Umpire Staff and received a bachelor’s degree in education from Toccoa Falls College in Toccoa, Georgia.
“I am very excited for the opportunity to serve ASPE as the Director of Affiliate Relations,” Henry said. “My long-standing relationship with ASPE will enable me to make the transition seamless. I look forward to growing our affiliate program so ASPE can continue to grow.”
