The Flo by Moen Smart Water Security System is a smart leak detection system that offers whole home protection. The system is comprised of the Flo by Moen Smart Water Shutoff valve and the Flo by Moen Smart Water Detector. The Smart Water Shutoff valve connects to the home's main water line to calculate water pressure, flow rate and temperature. If an abnormality is sensed or potential leak is detected, the user can also turn off their water directly from the app. If the homeowner is away, the device can be set to automatically shutoff. The Smart Water Detector is a standalone sensor that can be placed anywhere in a home susceptible to water damage or leaks from environmental factors or fixture malfunctions. If it senses the presence of water, freezing temperatures or high humidity, it will alert users through the app.
